Heróis do Mar Festival: There are 100 wines to taste in Lisbon (including those that women choose when making dinner)

The new Heróis do Mar gastronomic festival, which aims to be a celebration of fish and seafood, as well as the culture and history associated with maritime tradition, begins this Thursday, October 3rd, at Doca da Marinha, in Lisbon. With the presence of more than 20 nationally and internationally renowned chefs, 10 restaurants in the capital and musical performances, the event also has a strong wine aspect, exclusively coming from Demarcated Lisbon Wine Region.

Over the four days of the festival, around 100 references from 50 producers in the region will be available. The wines that are born on the outskirts of Lisbon are associated with the capital’s biggest gastronomic event and are the common denominator in the vast program, which includes tastings, banquets, live cooking, gatherings, cooking classes and concerts.
