Carlos Moedas’ intention to give the Lisbon Municipal Police powers to make arrests was questioned by the PSP unions and has now been criticized by the Left Bloc. Although the Mayor of Lisbon changed his position and later said that these arrests continue to depend on the PSP, the blockers considered the issue serious enough to demand clarification from the Minister of Internal Administration.
