Budget 2025: General debate scheduled for October 30th and 31st and final global vote on November 28th

This Wednesday, the conference of leaders analyzed a proposed calendar for holding the debate on the general Budget for 2025 on October 30th and 31st, with a final global vote scheduled for November 28th.

In front of the journalists, the spokesperson for the conference of leaders, the social-democratic deputy Jorge Paulo Oliveira, highlighted that this calendar regarding the debates on the State Budget for next year will still have to be the subject of consensus within the Budget and Finance, being “indicative dates for now”.

If this agreement calendar deserves a “green light” in the Budget and Finance Committee, the specialized discussion on the State Budget for 2025 will take place between November 22nd and 28th.

According to the law, the Government has until October 10th to deliver the State Budget proposal to the Assembly of the Republic.
