Portugal is preparing to once again receive a ship with Russian gas controlled by a US company

Last year 8% of the natural gas consumed in Portugal came from Russia. This year our country is importing less Russian gas, but, after several months without any discharge from the Yamal Peninsula, the Sines terminal is preparing to welcome, next Wednesday, another methane tanker from the Russian Sabetta terminalwhich, despite Brussels’ decision to reduce exposure to Moscow, continues to ship liquefied natural gas (LNG) to several European destinations.
