“I don’t owe António Costa an apology if the investigation is archived”: PGR shoots Costa, Marcelo and the Minister of Justice

In the first interview with the Attorney General of the Republic Lucília Gago in almost six years in office, former Prime Minister António Costa, the President of the Republic Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa and the Minister of Justice Rita Alarcão Júdice were criticized direct. The PGR began by mentioning that it always considered that “discretion is much better than fuss” to justify why it did not accept interviews: “I never had a cult of image.
