Luís Bernardo, target of searches by the PJ and DCIAP, sues Global Media for non-payment
Communications consultant Luís Bernardo sued the Global Media group for non-payment. In the process, which was filed last week, on June 27th, in the district of Porto, he complains 51.348,24 euros. The action is in the name of Wonderlevel Partners (WL Partners), a company owned and managed by Luís Bernardo.
The litigation has to do with what the Express found, with the fact that the current administration of Global had decided to do without the services of Luís Bernardo, who had been hired by the previous executive president, José Paulo Fafe, to help build the strategic plan of social communication group that owns media outlets such as Diário de Notícias, Jornal de Notícias or TSF. The collaboration would end up being suspended following the strong turbulence that was felt at Global with the worsening of the financial situation and the intention to lay off between 150 and 200 people in December – which then led to a shareholder war with minorities opposing the World Investment Fund that controlled (and still controls, despite leaving) Global Media.
