Sergio Scariolo has announced the final list of 12 players who will face the Pre-Olympic starting this Tuesday in Valencia. The two players ruled out are Álex Abrineswho does not arrive at the appointment after suffering a small fibrillar tear, and Joel Parra.
The call is made up of: Lorenzo Brown, Juan Núñez, Alberto Díaz, Sergio Llull, Darío Brizuela, Rudy Fernández, Xabi López-Aróstegui, Juancho Hernangómez, Jaime Pradilla, Santi Aldama, Usman Garuba and Willy Hernangómez.
The four Pre-Olympic tournaments will give the last places for the Games. Spain was included in an affordable group in which it will face Lebanon this Tuesday and Angola a day later. If, as expected, it passes this first phase, would face Poland, Finland in the semifinals on Saturdaywith the important absence of Lauri Markkanen, o Bahamas, with NBA stars Deandre Ayton, Buddy Hield and Eric Gordon. If they win that match, the team would play for a ticket in the final. Only the champion will have a prize.
