Dwelling fossils: 12 creatures that glance the similar now as they did tens of millions of years in the past

A dwelling fossil is a species that hasn’t advanced considerably for tens of millions of years and intently resembles ancestors discovered within the fossil document. 

Charles Darwin coined the time period “living fossil” in 1859 to explain dwelling species that also seemed like their ancestors from tens of millions of years in the past and have been frequently the terminating surviving lineage. Anatomically, those species have a tendency to seem unchanged, even if genetically species are at all times evolving.
